Comic strips

Hello everyone today I am going to be talking about my art class. what me and my class are doing. we are making comic strips for our art kete. its kinda fun we can do it on paper and practise how to draw.

what I know about comics.comics are used to read. comics usually has text with the images. a comic usually drawn in panels usually four or five. some comics have epic drawings and some are simple.
its like a book just with images in it.

Today in Art Kete me and the class that I am with. all made comics on this website called pixton. my comic is about this teacher who introduces himself to the class. he tells them to go with him to the gym. they were meant to go to the gym but they ended up in a blank place with nothing. here is my comic hope you enjoyed reading this as much as enjoyed writing it.

They settled on the Chatham islands

They were passive And they were Maori

6. How did they prove that Māori and Moriori descended from the same people?

           They checked out skeletons and DNA

7. Explain how the Moa came to be extinct

They only laid one egg a year and the rats ate the eggs. Maori thought Moa would be like hens and lay lots of eggs

8. Why did Māori choose to settle in the places they did?

They could grow and catch food there, get water and keep warm.

9. In your word bank, write the meaning of whānau, hapū and iwi

Family,  a group of your iwi,  your tribe/ancestors

10. Explain the role of the rangatira - list at least 5 roles

They were chiefs, teachers, landowners, guardians of cultural treasures and leaders.

Adverbs

Adverbs gives the reader more detail about actions

Yesterday I walked to the dairy.

Yesterday I walked carefully to the dairy 

The bird sang a song

The bird was a wonderful singer

The singer was good

The young singer was amazingly good
